The Eastern Division is celebrating a win as a whole after 2012 with the Toronto Argonauts winning the 100th Grey Cup. For the East it is a win but for three teams it was a lost opportunity as they would all lose to the Argonauts in the end. Now the East is looking to make it two in a row as they hope to go to Regina and win another Grey Cup.

The CFL is a league that centres around the QB more than any other football league in the world. The NFL may be turning into a passing league where the QBs are becoming more essential but the CFL has been a passing league for decades. With only three downs to work with and a bigger field teams need to get the ball out to the edges and extend the field.

The CFL is celebrating the 100th Grey Cup this year in a season that will highlight the rich history of the league. There is plenty to talk about when it comes to the history of the CFL with amazing stories around every corner. One thing that makes the CFL so great is the rivalries between many of the teams in the CFL. There is the Battle of Alberta between the Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Eskimos or the battle of French vs. English with the Toronto Argonauts and Montreal Alouettes.
