As teams continue to march towards the playoffs or simply towards the offseason they are starting to prove exactly what type of team they have. More than that though are the emergence of the superstars of 2014 as the halfway point is gone and the top players begin to prove that they are for real.

The NFL season has officially reached the halfway point as the playoff run approaches quickly and teams prepare themselves for the potential to play late in the winter. It is a good landmark for teams to figure out where they stand and what they might need to do in order to find their way into the postseason with the season closing fast. Heading into the season there were plenty of teams that were looked upon as the strongest in the league. That included the defending champions in the Seattle Seahawks who looked like the best team in the league.
