Tuesday Morning QB (99th Grey Cup)

The 99th Grey Cup was full of great storylines that made the matchup one of two teams that made comebacks to get to the big game. The B.C. Lions were not the best team last year as they made the playoffs but they were also very disappointing team. This year the disappointment continued with the Lions losing their first 5 games of the year as they looked to fall into the bottom of the league this year.

99th Grey Cup Preview

The CFL season is coming to an end and the 99th Grey Cup will take place this Sunday in the newly renovated B.C. Place. For one of the oldest trophies in North America the Grey Cup gets closer to its 100th year anniversary, held next year in Toronto. It all start on December 4, 1909 when the University of Toronto Varsity Blues won the first ever Grey Cup against the Toronto Parkdale Canoe Club.

What 2 Watch (Nov. 25-27)

This weekend in sports is not full of games but the games that are this weekend are big ones. The Canadian Football world is finishing up this weekend with both championship games this weekend. The 47th Vanier Cup kicks things off on Friday while the 99th Grey Cup ends the Canadian Football weekend.

CFL Playoff Preview

The CFL had a very interesting season with the season going down to the last week of the season. The six teams that made the playoffs clinched weeks before but both conference titles were up for grabs until the end. When all was done the B.C. Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers took home the two titles and earned the first round byes. With this the Lions will have the chance to win the Grey Cup at home for the first time since Montreal won at Olympic Stadium in 1977.
