The NFL playoffs were full of surprises a year ago including the Super Bowl champions and as much as teams prepare for their shot everything could change in an instant as the teams begin their pursuit of a championship with a new season.

The Championship games seemed to be all figured out before the games but the end of the weekend saw two results that were unexpected, at least for how they came, left a familiar story for the Super Bowl.

The NFL playoffs began with Wild Card weekend seeing more than half of the teams involved breaking playoff droughts and more than half of the teams left taking their first swing in a long time while trying to keep parity alive in the NFL.
