NCAA Football Report (Week 12)

The NCAA season continues to wind around towards the playoff as top four teams continue to drop. The #1 team in the nation took their first loss of the season as Mississippi State could not overcome the challenge from Alabama. So for another week the rankings change and the playoff adjusts. It seems like every week another top four teams takes a loss in one of the strangest years in recent memory. It is all only made stranger with the fact that it is all about the top four teams and not the top two teams that make it in.

NCAA Football Report (Week 10)

The first rankings are out in the new playoff era as teams finally got to see where they stand in the playoff committee’s rankings. As much as the rankings before meant a lot to the teams they truly didn’t mean all that much in the end as the AP and Coaches’ poll has no bearing on the College Football Playoff. That is the end goal of every team in the NCAA as they all hope to find their way to the playoff and eventually to the National Championship.

NCAA Football Report (Week 9)

It is that time of year as the college teams wait patiently to find out where they truly stand on the national stage. With only 7 weeks left in the regular season the playoff is fast approaching for the first time ever. The College Football Playoff is the biggest story of the year as for the first time ever the champion will be determined through a playoff. The top four teams in the final rankings will enter into a two round playoff where major bowls will serve as the semi-finals and the National Championship Game will determine the next College Football champion.

NCAA Football Report (Week 8)

The College Football season is always a strange one when at any point in the season a big game can occur. It never seems like the big games are left for the bowl season as great teams face each other on a regular basis in the NCAA. That happened this week when two of the undefeated teams left in the NCAA faced off in the biggest game of the year so far. It was built as the biggest game that either school may have this year when the #2 ranked Florida State Seminoles took on the #5 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

NCAA Football Report (Week 6)

It happens every year in College Football that one week of games turns the entire league on its head. Nobody knows when it is going to come but everyone knows that it is going to come at some point in time. That is what makes the NCAA so exciting when it comes down to it as every week people are watching to see what can happen. That has only become truer in this new era of College Football where every team seems to be getting closer and closer. It is becoming increasingly tougher for teams to remain undefeated in the season and a 1-loss champion is no longer unheard of.
