Being a coach or a manager is a unique challenge in sports as they are given the responsibility of motivating a group of individuals to play together. It can be tougher for baseball managers who make decisions that can instantly lose a game. One pitching change or defensive shift can mean the difference between a win and a loss as the managers need to walk the fine line between making the right call and the wrong call.

The 2013 Baseball Hall of Fame Class is missing from the Baseball Hall of Fame in a rare move for the voters. In 2013 no player was elected by the voters as only three players would hear their named called and all were by the veteran’s committee. It was a strange thing to see when the Hall of Fame class was announced for 2013 but it was for a reason. The Baseball writers were sending a message to those eligible for the Hall of Fame that cheating would not be tolerated.
