2013 MLB Preview: Early Postseason Look

Last year the San Francisco Giants would win their second World Series title in three years as they established what could be the dynasty of the 2010s. They will look to solidify this spot in the 2013 season but it will not be an easy road. The MLB has a number of different types of teams and there are two dominant theories on how to build a winner.

2013 MLB Preview: NL West

The National League West does not really compare to its cousin from the American League but it does contain some major contenders. They would like to be the same division as the American League but the reality is they are far off. The division is essentially a two horse race as there are only two teams that can win this division and after those two the talent drops off.

2013 MLB Preview: AL West

The West is looking to rule this time around as there are a number of teams looking for their chance to represent the division in the postseason. The American League West is likely the only division that can even challenge the American League East for the title of the best division in baseball. They are making an even better case for it as the season approaches with teams making moves and winning games.

2013 MLB Preview: NL Central

The National League Central is a team down this year as the Houston Astros made a move to the American League. It won’t mean much as the Astros made little impact on the division and really on the MLB. It does leave the division with five teams and better chance for every team to make the playoffs.

2013 MLB Preview: AL Central

The American League Central is a division on the decline in recent years but in 2013 a number of teams will try to bring the division back. The last few years this division has followed a very specific pattern as there is always one dominant team. That team used to be the Minnesota Twins who would win the division almost every year.

2013 MLB Preview: NL East

The National League East is a division that is a good cross section of the MLB with teams doing it right and doing it wrong. The MLB is full of these teams that can show how to properly build a team and how to drive a team into the ground. In no division is there more of these teams than in the NL East were new powers are emerging and old powers are freefalling.

2013 MLB Preview: AL East

The American League East has always been one of the best divisions in the MLB with multiple teams regularly making the playoffs. It seemed for the longest time that the wild card team would always be the runner-up in the AL East. The winner would also be a favorite to win the World Series every year. It became the toughest division in baseball with great teams all fighting for a spot in the playoffs and a few falling through the cracks.

2013 MLB Preview: 5 Things to Watch

The 2013 season is right around the corner and once again teams are beginning to gear up for a run at the World Series. For the next 6 months teams will deal with injuries, downslides, and the unknown that could turn their seasons in a completely different direction. The season will always have its ups and downs and it will always be those teams who can manage the ups and downs who can win the World Series.
