The NHL and NHLPA have consistently sent some mixed messages over the last few months and the media has not helped. There have been some close calls in recent weeks where reports surfaced that the NHL and NHLPA may have finally come to a deal. Many of these reports would be false as the NHL lockout would continue on and close in on another cancelled season.

2012 was another great year in sports with plenty going on for everyone to enjoy and great stories around every corner. There was plenty to talk about throughout the sports world with great performances and inspirational performances. It has been an incredible year for sports in 2012 with more than enough stories to look to and more than enough great accomplishments. The world of sports never ceases to impress and give us something that we have not seen before. Champions were crowned in all of the major sports after teams had slugged through long demanding season.

Is Toronto Fed Up?

Sitting at the Blue Jays Home Opener in the 9th inning something terrible happened as the Blue Jays let a lead slip away. It was frustrating and annoying to see the Jays let another game slip away after year of watching them do the exact same thing. As Sergio Santos allowed 3 runs in the top of the 9th inning the familiar sight of a Toronto team sparked something in the fans.

The weekend in sports will be an exciting one as some season come to a close while others continue their start. Basketball is coming to a close as the NCAA Tournament ends this weekend while the NBA enters their last month. Lacrosse will also enter their last month as the NLL begins their playoff race with two rivals.

The sports continue to roll out in the spring as this weekend will see a host of great events that will be sure to keep you busy if you decide to stay in. Basketball continues to roll this year as March Madness will move to the Final Four and the NBA will continue their march to the playoff race.

The Spring is here with great weather and a very special unofficial holiday in St. Patrick’s Day located on a Saturday. As the celebrations begin for St. Patty’s Day there will be plenty of sports to keep everyone busy as they prepare for a great day and also recover from a great day. This weekend will see a number of different sports as hockey continues to work towards the playoffs as the CHL enters their last weekend and the NHL enters their last few weeks.

Spring is here and the sports world continues their transition period into the summer months as leagues begin to wind down and start up. This weekend the transition will be on full display as the winter gives way to the warmer weather. The NHL continues to march towards the playoffs with only a few weeks left as the Maple Leafs try to cling on to their small playoff hopes when they take on the Flyers.

March Is here and that means spring which is only one step away from the summer which means a new sports season is about to start and another is about to end. The summer season is coming which means baseball is back and it starts this weekend with the first spring training games of the 2012 season.

After a small lull in the sports calendar this weekend is full of great events that are sure to keep every sports fan busy. As the winter sports begin to wind down the summer sports start to make themselves known. The NHL is one of these winter sports as they begin to prepare for the playoffs with just a little over a month left in the regular season.
